Should I go wihh vortech actercooler or custom 4" thick intercooler

I'll be running a vortech strim with 2.82" pulley, trick flow high ports, tfs stage 2 cam and litters 75 mm throttle body and cobra or edelbrock intake

if it was a drag only car id do a/w in a heart beat but if its a street car, just do the a/a intercooler

I plan to go to the track sometimes but mostly cruising and I allready have the vortech a2w one should I sell it and make some money then buy a a2a

does it have a heat exchanger and electric pump? if so, id just keep it since you already have it. that way you can put ice in the tank when you go to the track. you wont gain any hp either way because the a/w uses the heat exchanger to remove heat from the water so the water is never any colder then ambient (unless you use ice at the track, ice wont last on the street). a/a will never cool boost colder then ambient as well

not pointless, just no better then an a/a on the street. if the heat exchanger doesnt have enough air flow or is near something hot, it will be less effective then an a/a.
