Default Would this work?

Ok so im going to carb. I read somewhere that around 300hp you will need a bigger fuel line then 5/16. I probobly wont hit 300 with my setup but I just want the bigger line to be sure. I dont wanna replace all the lines. Im running a fuel cell with a holley pump, not the stock return style pump and tank. After the pump could I put a T fitting and feed fuel to the regulater up front using the stock return and feed line then go back to a bigger single line at the regulator? Would this work?

i'd just run a mechanical pump with a granatelli pickup tube in the stock tank.

Problem with that is....when i removed the cover over the tank to drop it it looked like someone beat the hell out of it with a sledge hammer, they way it was about 4 gallons of fuel wasnt even gettin close to the pump it was trapped on the one side. So im just droppin a cell in it. Already picked up the pump and regulator as well.

just get some 3/8 rubber line and run it along side the stock lines, that's what I did, I secured it to stock lines

Oh ok so it doesnt have to be a hard line? I thought it had to be a hard line underneth the body to pass inspection.

it shouldnt...
even if it is a roll of like 25ft of 3/8" fuel line shouldnt be more than like 10 bucks.. kinda annoying since its rolled up but its simple enough. you could also just go steel braided rubber line
