Stock Temp ?

Default Stock Temp ?

I have a stock temp gauge in my car and it reads 130-270 gauge.Ever since I got this stang the temp gauge is always around 3 quarters high is this normal the temp outside tonight is 43 degrees and I just got back from riding it?

dead in the middle of the stock gauge is normal, but then again you can't really trust something that old.

my stock temp gauge reads a little below half when warmed up. i dont trust it, and i will deffinately be upgrading to aftermarkets soon!

my stock one generally is at the 2nd notch from the bottom. long drives it goes half way up.

you may need to burp your coolant system. what you need to do is take the rad cap off. start the car and let it get warm (to let the thermostat open). squeeze the upper hose to help get out some air. also rev it a bit so the water pump will flow more coolant. the coolant level will prob go down. add coolant as needed.
