Will my 351w swap pass smog?

If I select the right parts (emissions legal), is it possible to make my 94 mustang pass smog with a 351w in California? fyi, they do the "sniff" test here...

Yea. If a truck that comes with it can there is no reason why you can't. But that also depends on your mods and how "clean" the tune is.

Not in CA unless you have a friend. They have a really tight system now that the 351 will blow too much for the parameters they have set for your stock 302

That and from what I hear Cali says its illegal to have an older motor in your car too.

u should be good as long as the motor u put in is newer than the car u put it in

the only way to get a 351w to (legally) pass emissions in california is if it is in a 95. because that is the only year where the 5.8 is actually an "option"
