Default Typhoon intake

I see a few guys on here that have em and i was just wondering how well do they perform do you suggest it or go with something better. I have a unmolested 302 with the stock air silencer still in it and the xmas money will be coming in soon. What do you guys suggest?

buy heads first. dont waste time on intake or cam without having heads done first.

I was doing some research on that as well. Ive looked into patriot heads, know nothing about them and also looked at the e-street heads as well. Not quite sure where to start. Another question is will the stock upper and lower keep up with the heads?

there will be some limitation but not quite as bad what your heads are doing right now. if you were to swap out in stages i would always do heads first.

look into TW heads.

i've heard some good and mostly bad about patriots. don't go with procomps. the estreet heads I've heard good things about. look around for some used afr165's that might fall in your price range.
when you do go intakes the spyder is only good for 2 things imo; forced induction and looks. on most na motors it won't be very good because of the high power band. some to consider would be a gt40 if you're on a budget. or a nice eddy rpm II or systemax II
