It could, but for me, I'm all about what is less work, for me the mod to the hoist would be easier/quicker

I agree mod the hoist, for like 5 bucks and 45 mins its easier...

are you sure you didn't assemble it wrong!?
I have the same one, and the instructions SUCK, but I had the top boom all the way back, and had plenty of reach to pull the motor

302army...yea the instructions did suck. can you send me a picture of how you assembled yours? Im pretty sure i put it together correctly...

sure, ill get you a picture later today. I just put the motor back in and ill snap a picture as the hoist is still in place over the car, so you will be able to see.
