Default 95 Mustang 5.0 gt

Hey guys I have a few questions about the 95 5.0 GT. Since I'm going to be in the market for one soon. I wanted to know what to look for as far as price range and also what I should look out for when test driving...I know the basics to look for but is there anything else I need to know as far as mustangs go. I don't know much about them so any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

P.S. This is one I was looking at...

The 94-95 Mustangs are really good cars. Now the car you are looking at is called a "GTS" Mustang. Basically, it's a stripped down GT. For info: http://www.quannet.org/corey/gtsinfo.html . As for test driving make sure the car drives straight(obviously), and the transmission shifts smoothly *Note: The T-5 trans is a bit notchy but the gears should be easily attainable* if the trans pops out of gear, that's not a great sign. When driving make sure all the gauges work properly. Also, try and drive the car after it has been running for a bit and keep the radio down so you can HEAR any strange sounds. Check A/C and heat. Usually a warm car will show any hidden problems. Inspect under the hood too. LOOK UNDERNEATH FOR ANY SIGNS OF OIL RESIDUE. These cars are notorious for blowing the front and rear main seal and it is not a fun fix. Check the oil and coolant for any irregularities; IE: Oil in coolant or vice versa. When driving the car the car may be a bit sluggish. Usually it's nothing to worry about. A good tune up will bring the car back to life. Price looks fair! Try and talk the seller down a couple of hundred though. Good luck!

You'll find plenty of those cars in Nevada. Try Craigslist as well. Also, 94 is the same as a 95 too.

Yeah, that's a GTS. Same one I have. They only made 777 of them that year in that color. Lighter and quicker than a GT. Watch out for excessive grey exhaust smoke. It should have manual seats and window cranks. I smoked alot of GT's with mine. Highly recommended. Eight
