no they are no stronger = same e7 blocks that are in many other cars and should be roller ready, meaning , has the provisions to accept roller hardware

It was before the oil pump shaft failure, had gt-40 iron heads edl-3820 intake,small cam, crane RR, 1 5/8 headers h-pipe and flowmasters w turndowns.

haha, yeah, that will ruin one....Sounded like a hot little motor. So you plan to re-build it?

Gonna flip it and check the bearings prolly junked them, and replace if that is all and there is no bluring of the metals, but then i will keep it for a back-up or sell it if i think it is ok, I cant knowingly sell someone junk, if not i`ll tear down and rebuild.

I need a motor for my car, mine has a piston slapping in it. Seems like i may come out cheaper just to buy an explorer motor rather than go back and put forged pistons in mine. Cheaper but, I don't know about better. The only reason I would do it that way is for the head upgrade. With my supercharger I have, the used explorer heads will probably end up needing new springs. Or better yet, the engine doesn't smoke at all in the wrecked vehicle but then has blow-by like a champ when I boost it. lol

I used a 95 truck block and put my complete engine on stand. Never get $$ back on modified engine so saved the original nothing was wrong with it. Used fuel rail and thermostat housing off old engine.
