93 Reborn Build
I got to paint the rear end today and got the trac loc back in. I am going to pull the control arms off the car tonight so I can paint them and the diff cover tomorrow and then get the rear end put back in the car sunday night hopefully.

Well it has been a couple of days since I have done anything to the car. I did get the rear end back under it today and the rest of the fender aprons cut out so I can flex the radiator support easier and line up the fender mounting holes. I also solved my issue with the headlight adjustment panels I was having by just trimming the square section that sticks out of the header panel where the inside adjustment screw goes through.
Tonight I am going to start cutting the plates to box off the top of the frame and then figure out how I want to do the connection of the fender mounting rail that was cut out.

Another trip to the junk yard reaped a few rewards. I picked up brake drums and trans cross member bolts. I also picked up my axle bearings and seals so I can get my rear end together tonight...yay go me! lol The car will be back on the ground tonight!
I did get the rear 5 lug completed and back on the ground. I still need to get gear oil and what not to finish it. I love theses wheels
. Keep in mind that there is still no hatch on the car so the wheel gap will be alot smaller when it is put on. With someone sitting on the back the quarter panel sits almost even with the top of the tire. I did flip the quads because of the obvious rubbing and I shouldn't have to roll the lips with these wheels. I will probably with the Mickey's though. We will see once I get them mounted on my other wheels.

I pressure washed the front end today so my K member and all that stuff is finally clean. Now all I have to do before I drop in the motor is grind down the driver frame rail. I do still need to box it in and paint them but all that can be done with the motor in. I am just getting anxious about getting it in the car finally. That way I can get the wiring hidden where I want it to be.
I got a wild hair up my butt and decided to go ahead and install the engine and trans. BUT I did hit a snag because the pressure plate bolts (FRPP) that are 8MM metric bolts do not fit in my Pro Comp flywheel which I am guess are SAE thread. I do have a bolt that threads in so I know what I need it is just too late to go get any. So I do have the motor on the hoist with the flywheel attached and ready to get the rest of it mated up. SO tomorrow I am going to Ace hardware and get the bolts that I do need and get this thing in the car and out of my way. That will allow me to get the wiring, fuel system and exhaust farther along and ready so that the starting of the motor will be soon to follow.
