Default ac eliminator kit

Hi im about to purchase an AC elim pulley and i just want to clarify something. The guy that i normally work on cars with is arguing with me over the fact that what i know to be the AC compressor he says is not, also the evaporator is located right infront of the radiator is it not? He says it is my heater core, its like arguing with a brick wall sometimes. But i may be wrong please clarify for me.
I have the system highlighted in yellow in the picture, i am correct right?

Do yourself a favor and get a FRPP kit that moves the power steering pump up and doesn't just add pulley. It just looks alot cleaner IMO. The thing that gets me is when people spend the money on a smog pump eliminator pulley when all you have to do is spend half the money on a shorter belt to bypass it.

.......and get yourself a new mechanic who knows the basic components, lol.

If your removing the entire A/C system, make sure you have the Freon evacuated before you break any lines loose
