Well, I was a wee lad. I knew I wanted a mustang as a first car, bar none. My mom offered me an 05 GT auto for my first car but my dad offered me his buddies car. I had no clue about the car except that I had ridden in it when I was very young. Went to his house to see a beat to **** black fox with a blower sticking out of the hood.

I bratily said nope and we left since he couldn't get it started. Well later said friend called my dad and told him to call me into the room and put the phone on speaker. Next thing I heard was the most orgasmic revs I've ever heard from a vehicle.

Dad bought a car hauler trailer the next day and we went to pick it up. I've been hooked since.

Looks, sound, and torque sold me....Not only that but just about everyone liked and respected Mustangs around me.

GM F-bodys were cool but were rattle traps and always had sh*t breaking on them.Basicly high power but low quality....even right up untill 2002.

I have always loved the look/sound of the Mustangs especially the v8's. I have to say that my current car is by far my favorite Mustang purchase. The sound of the blower whining and exhaust (Magnaflow) huffing is pure heaven. I'm not sure that being born the same year as the Mustang has anything to do with my love of the Mustang or not. I still miss my 90 gt but it was replaced with a new 99gt then the 05gt and lastly the 09. Life is good.

I agree with basically everyone. I have had a ton of fun with this car. I didn't plan on messing with it when I got it but I did one thing and then I had the "mod bug"

when i was in high school i always drove cars that looked like crap but were fast. my dad was a GM guy for most of his life so when i picked up my 95 cobra that ran 12.20's for the price... well lets just say he has been slowly coming to my side of the cars. he has a 27 model A, 65 shelby mustang, and now looking to trade his 90 zr-1 for a cobra... and i recently got back into it with my 88 notch b/c of the v8 power and light weight.

I was hooked because my uncle had the mustang i own now in his garage for 8 years just sitting. Until i turned 16, I offered to by it from him and at first he said 2k then later he said just give me 1k for it, great deal! got it running, with a clean title and 114k miles. Pretty good deal for a first car!
