What hooked you?
What first got you hooked on mustangs? Particularly the fox body?
I was thinking about how I got my car and I wasn't even looking for one. I was just going through cars on craigslist and spotted my 82 GT. I thought it looked pretty cool so I drove over and went for a ride in it. After that I was hooked. It wasn't even that fast, but the sounds of it and the torque had me.

I like the body style and the fact it's a tiny car with some v8 muscle. No ABS, traction control make it even more fun.
Plus there's just as many parts on the market for these cars are there are honda civics.

I thought they always looked sick! my sis had an 85 4cyl as her first car that she drove me to school in. Then later her now ex bf (current owner of the white one in my sig) bought a 92 triple black GT vert. we had some GREAT times in that car! after that i couldnt wait to buy my own! between the two of us we have owned about 8 foxes. im still driving my first one tho. the others were fix and re-sell or part out

I was originally a GM guy... in particular my brother had a 95 3.8 camaro that i was supposed to get. He was a senior in high school when i was a freshman... all the foxbodies i saw around town were ghetto stock pos's. I was supposed to get his car handed down to me, it was mint.. it sat on a showroom floor majority of its life. I planned the magical ls1 swap when i was a freshman... then he told me he was selling it for a foxbody. I thought he was retarded till i saw the car he wanted to sell it for. The first CLEAN foxbody i had ever seen. It was his good friends black 89 gt. I fell in love with it... He never sold the camaro, but he totaled it later on that year (not his fault.) ended up with a lincoln mark viii. I was told i couldn't have a v8 for my first car for like 3 years since non of my other brothers had one... Well i'm quite convincing and i talked them into buy my 84 for my first car. It was tired and slow so they didn't really care. When i bought it i was losing to stock honda's and was dead even with my friends 94 302 bronco... it had 3 inches of lift and 35's on it. Pretty pathetic.
