This is under the black plastic off to the right in the middle pic, it is a 331 very similar build, i built it for my buddy who`s shop were at he has a 93 notch, we done the builds to see exactly what the real world differances will be between a 347 and 331 basically equipped with the same goodies, he has a comp xfi stroker cam with the R series intake, and a lighter car lol!

WEll update time. i have the engine in the car now im taking a break from it to cool off. ready to put teh tranny behind it and then exaust and some minor wiring. i hope to start it this afternoon, or tomorrow by lunch at the latest, pending the odds and ins i have to run around and get.
hope to be rolling by sunday, i finally got my suspension swapped over, but still need to swap the axles out and ptu in the mini spool.
kinda skiddish about kicking it too much with the stock rearend parts.
well ill` post pics and maybe an audio vid sometime soon after it is up and running!

With this setup the C/R calculates at 10.3 : 1.
hoping for about 350-360 rwhp n/a. once i get about 1500 road miles on it i`ll do my normal spray down, gonna start it at 100 but after i get my progressor and tune i`ll bump it up to a 200shot!
hoping to make it into the 6`s 8th mile. i drove the car daily before the teardown and plan to be my DD again.
Aode and 3.55`s gonna help with that.
i see you have a 347 do you know what it makes? have you had it on the dyno? Track times etc...

lol, we are about to get a lot of rain up here. Then hopefully the internet and power goes out so I can test out these new candles I got.
Build is looking good. Nothing like looking at shiny new parts on the interwebz and seeing someone happy to be putting them in the car.
I think you are about right about the hp expectancy. The shot should have you making well over 500lbs of torque at the wheels.

this is an idle vid of my buddies 331 finally! sounds healthy we have a few things to gt it right but its running and rolling atleast!
