im doing 3.55's in the spring

heres the cheapest place i can find:

http://www.speedconcepts.net/product...roducts_id=786

Ive heard mixed things from speed concepts but w.e its a $100 gamble

Im more of a city / highway person.

Track once a year? but ive been saying that for 2 years and never made it, to busy with school.

Rebuild the rear end while its out, i am, and its a solid insurance.

If you can do it yourself its not to expensive.

If your car is going to see more track time than highway time then go for it you'll love the kick.
I agree If u plan on using every day for work and pleasure and maybe every blue moon to the drags go with 3.55's or 3.73's These guys that got the 4.10's are at the drags alot and are guys that love to race, its just too high of a gear IMO for daily driving.I just put the 3.55's in my car It made a world of differents A really fun gear u get the best of both worlds not too low,not to high just right IMO.Also if U never installed gears before do yourself a favor and hire a professional,It will be the best money U ever spent. L@@k on spending from $250 to $350 just for the install....

I calculated it out. a set of 4.30 gears and 28" tires would be the same as running 3.93:1 geats with 26" tires.

So I'm gonna gear to take advantage of the larger traction patch of the 28" tire

Yea i know eh! If there's a deal on something im buying or planning on buying ill find it!

I've emailed the guy he seems pretty good, explained what pull offs mean haha.

Im hoping theres no mesh in the gears and that there pretty much new.

Shippings like $25, but that could be because im having it shipped to Michigan.

Im probs grabbing 2 sets, my friend wants one. Shipping in total for the two came to $45.

Well the mustang shop by my place refuses to install the gears. Said it was too hard to do. Said I should buy a new 8.8 with the gears in it. I was thinking if its that much 300 for the install and almost 300 for the ring and pin and install kit with bearings = 600. I should just get a new 99-04 Mustang 8.8" Rear 3.73 Axle Assembly, 28-Spline Traction-Lok from lmr for 750 and do the work myself thens its all new.

here is how it goes

people who have never driven a car with 4.10's say to get whatever gear they are using even if it's a 3.27 cuz " it's so much better than stock"

but if you gave an ethiopian a rotten hamburger he'd love it " cuz it's better than starving" it doesn't mean a filet mignon wouldnt taste better

4.10 all the way, i have used almost all of them, and will NEVER go anything but 4.10

all the "cons" are myths

you WON'T run out gear and have to shift to 5th
you WON'T tach 3000 doing 60 (more like 3k at 80-85)
mileage diff from from 3.73 to 4.10 is like 0.090243902% (yes i did the math)
