Probably not if it had good compression.

Alright so new plug wires didnt help, its breaking up when you rev it,and when you drive it it breaks up...would a bad coil cause this?

If the plugs are flaky white you may have a fuel issue. Do you have a gauge on it and how is your fuel system set-up?

A coil can POSSIBLY be the issue. Have you checked the timing or checked for any vaccum leaks ?

The plugs I put in it were the wrong ones, autozone cross ref. them wrong so I put the autolites back in so theres no flaky look any more.Fuel pressure is good, fuel filter is clean,no vacuum leaks.

Never poke a hole into plug wires. If you do next time your hand or arm is near pierce... zap. If inclined to check wires just put your man hands in action and pull off by the plugs or cap.

^^Yea that just sounds like a bad idea, anyways I snooped around a bit and did find something.Check the video out
Now I replaced just that plug to see what would happen and the small miss at about 1500rpms went away,so made a little progress, still idles kinda funky but Iam gonna replace all the plugs and see what happens.Crazy, never seen a spark plug do that before.

Ha,it definatley runs better with all new plugs, but still a little fuzzy in the upper rpm's.I still cant believe those plugs did that, they only got about 50miles on them with a couple nitrous hits.Anyways lemme ask this,I have my plugs gapped at .035 for the nitrous, when Iam just cruisin the streets I have my timing at 16.Is that too much timing for that plug gap?Or should it be ok?
