Maybe you have some bad compression going on in one or more cylinders. Rings may be damaged etc. Do a compression test on all 8 to see what's going on.

My buddy had a Ford 400 c.i. that was doing that and we comp tested it and he had crappy compression in one of the cylinders - threw the whole engine off and it shook all the time, as if it had a misfire.

Test each plug wire for proper resistance. Even if they're new you could have a dud. I did this last year and had to replace one of the wires.

You replaced all the plugs, the cap, and rotor, and didnt change the wires? of all that stuff, the wires are the first to go bad.

You could try jerking a wire off each plug until the miss doesn't get worse. Or if you have a test light, ground it and prod the wires.

Is it possible a rocker could be too tight?

Alright new plug wires on the way,I pry should have started there first but could a rocker being too tight do this? They are pedestal mounts though, also on a cold start it doesnt seem as bad but its still there....well see what the plug wires do.
