Default Mustang with 200,000 miles

So I found a real nice 94' 5.0 with 200,000 miles for $2000. Everything on the car is good other than the fact it has high mileage. Also the owner says it has kinda lost power as it has reached such high mileage. If i got this car i would evenually want to do some engine mods such as h/c/i but how do yall think it would hold up. Is this car not worth is because the milage so high. would yall do an engine rebuild kit or something?

I wouldn't put the extra pressure on the cylinders with a set of heads or even a valve job if blow-by is the reason for loss of power. I would re-build and start over.

sounds like a decent deal to me. I have a 94 convertible and it needed tires and a power steering hose and I paid 1000. Now, the interior is warn, but, I say go for it. Then get to buildin!

the engine may still be strong. i bought my 89 with that many miles and it still has 50 pounds of oil pressure and doesnt burn any oil or even leak any. seems like a good price even if the engine was tired.
