Unhappy TRACTION ISSUES!!

i have a 1986 mustang gt automatic. today a 2009 v6 mustang rolled up at a stop light and my car just spins the tires all of 1st gear. my mustang is completly STOCK. any advice in something i can do in tackin off quicker?? and by the way he beat me but it was only to 50 mph.

get slicks. hah not much else you can do other than suspension. its just the nature of first gear lol

upgrade your suspension, disconnect your front sway bar, get a stickier tire, adjust tire pressure to get a nice smooth launch, oh and dont launch on the street. try launching at a track, their surfaces are much different

time for suspension upgrades. look into subframes as well, they will stiffen the body helping with weight transfer
