I need to replave the high pressure hose from my condensor to the compressor and the dryer hose.

Now I have heard that the dryer and hose are connected as one for a 93 GT 5.0 and also heard they can come apart? These are two different auto part stores telling me this by the way.

Which is correct?

Also, is this an easy fix or should I hand off to a pro?

 

well heres the deal.

your system is r12, and you cant get it anymore. so you need to do the swap to 134

price it out but they will need to flush the system to fill with the new stuff.

im gonna say you'll need to take it in, but yeah you can do it yourself, but having the right tools is the difference

 

R12 is still available in Texas. It is a bit more but most places will fill it for you. It is 90.00 a lb.
