Default C4,converter ?'s

Think I have a bad tourqe converter, feels like a stick shift car riding the clutch when i take off in first, once Iam going the tranny shifts great,no lag in between shifts or anything.Fluid level is good, clearly red and not burnt. My current stall is 3500,should I step it up to maybe a 3800-4000????lookn for better 60ft's and et overall. And does anyone know the formula for calculating converter slippage????Thanks in advanced

3500 on a street car is a decent amount of stall in my opinion. The converter is going to slip quite a bit until you reach that rpm. Depending on your cam and rear end gear ratio- I'd actually run less of a stall.
