Default Need spark plug help fast...

So i bought this car not to long ago, and it needs new plugs because the ones in their look pretty old. I was told the heads are trick flow R heads, the heads are cast aluminum, no markings on the outside. The plugs in their were Autolite 3924, so i went to the autozone and bought some of the same plugs (Autolite 3924) and the ones i bought had a compression ring on them, the old ones from the car did not. I thought ford cars dont use compression rings? What should i do? I was hoping to take the car to cruise night with my buddies in about an hour and need help fast....
