Thumbs down Coil Issue

Hi guys, I just noticed when my car is cold and I fire it up it kinds sounds like its missing for a minute then goes away.

So I went outside and with the car running I pulled a plug wire off think that wire was my problem and when I did my MSD coil was arcing like crazy all around it? Is this normal

Also I had my buddy start my car while I was looking at the coil and as soon as it fired up I could see a arc but it went away

It arcs from the red part on the coil to metal thing that goes around it.

any input would be appreciated
