Default A good buy or not?

Here is some info on a mustang im interested in, just wondering if it sounds like a good deal? I went and saw it in person yesterday and overall its probably a six out of ten and the paint is whats hurting it the most. However it drives straight and runs strong and shifts great. My only concern is the engine sits lower on the passenger side, is that a major concern? Could the frame be bad or did they just not level the engine on install? Also will it cause problems in the future? Here is the ad.

This is a 1985 ford Mustang GT. The motor is a 1999 ford 5.0 roller motor with a s-91 ford Anderson cam, GT40 p heads and a Victor Junior intake with a Holley 650 double pumper with mechanical secondaries with a manual choke. Its ignition is a MSD Blaster 2 coil with MSD ST wires and Mallory 6al ignition with built in soft bump rev limiter. The exhaust is ceramic coated BBK headers with a BBK X pipe. The cat back system is 2.5 in mendral bent with 2.5 Flowmaster mufflers dumped at the rear end. The car sounds great. This car was upgraded to the larger 10.5 in clutch that is heavy duty the trans was recently rebuilt it is an original 1992 Saleen mustang trans. Centerline rims (Warriors?) with new Falken P245/50 R16 rear tires`The rear end was taken out and swapped for an 8.8 with 3:73 Ford Motorsport gears. Newer brakes all around. Manual windows. This car also has a 5 in tach and 3 aftermarket oil temp and volt gauges.Newer aluminum radiator. Has a Sony cd player, American Legacy series 2 amp, Aftershock 10 in. subs. It still even has heat. this windows are tinted 20%. Great car for the money. Car runs great & sounds mean.Very nice paint, (Marina blue). 73,000 on body, I am looking for $4,800 obo or will consider at least $1,500 cash and the rest trade. NO JUNK PLEASE & no major projects, must be drivable. All trades come to me. I have more pics I can send & if you want more specific pics just ask. This car was ran in Morocco 1 day and its average time with street tires 205 50r16 was 106 mph at 13.08 in the quarter would have no problem running a 12 with a drag radial. Open to all types of trades but NO boats, 4 wheelers, or dirtbikes of any kind.

wouldnt pay that for a car thats 6/10... if it looks like crap thats wayy too much to spend. i like how you say the paint is waht is hurting it the most and in his post it says very nice paint... LOL

as for the motor the motor mounts could be shot. thats the way the motor twists when its reved..

Im going to offer him $3000 and see. Just really worried about the motor sitting unlevel, will that cause any severe problems with the trans, differential and or rear end?

you say the paint blows and he says it is very nice. So which one of you is full of it?

Counting labor to pay my mechanic to build it, I could build that car for less than 48.
