Default Pillar Gauges

I am starting to look into getting gauges on my pillar. I am curious to what are some 'standard' gauges that people with 5.0's have, and what brand.

I have autometer "ultralite 2" series and I like them.

I like water temperature and oil pressure personally. Trans temp is another good one if your auto.

I have a 5 spd. I was looking at water temp, vacuum, and oil pressure. But wasnt sure. Also, I was looking at the auto meter ultra lite's too, but wasnt sure about either 2 1/16 or 2 5/8 should they be mechanical or electrical?

C an H ...HMMMM COLD OR HOT?? HRMMMM HOW HOT?? Your OEM GAUGES ARE idiot gauges for all intents and purposes, they do not let you know how hot is hot, my mech gauges indicate exact temp and exact oil pressure VS L AND H ON stock gauges......oem doesn't give you an exact number just a general idea, with mech gauges you can see a prob coming....as for vaccum gauge, it serves no purpose nor reason to monitor as the 3 critical things are oil, water temp and volt/amps , knowing these three can help Driver not return on foot now spell it backwards if you want to add a 4th, add fuel pressure, I have oil pressure, water temp, volts, fuel pressure and nitrous pressure, I have the fuel pressure for obvious reasons = it goes hand in hand with running nitrous

thats what i assumed. My oil pressure gauge likes to sit on zero sometimes... even though if that wetre true then my car wouldnt run lol. But i think Ill do the oil pressure, water temp, and volt. Probably gonna do either gears or gauges for X-mas. and whatever i dont do ill do in the summer
