Just bought a used B303 cam yesterday for a 91 302. Just curious how can I be sure its a B303 cam before I put it in the motor? (casting numbers, markings) Thanks..

 

it should be marked at the rear end of the cam.... and you should give it back to whoever ****ed you over with it.

that cam is crap, you can do much better

on the heel it'll say m-6250-b303

 

Are you positive? it doesnt say anything like that. it just says e14 and has three lines

 

It will be clearly marked like mjr has written.

ewww, i'd bring that back, bonk the guy on the head with it, and demand your money back...

some mustang magazines make the letter cams out to be gods... when in reality, they are extremely outdated and best used as coffee table legs...

 

you've been screwed!!!!! every and i mean every letter cam I have ever owned/ bought/ installed for someone was clearly marked as such.
