Hello,

I am wanting to put a posi track rear end in my 89 5.0 fox. Does anyone know which vehical rear ends would work for this conversion? Thank you

putting a chevy rear end in your car is probably not going to be done easily.

However, there is a solution! Your 89 (assuming it was originally a 5.0 car) comes with an 8.8" Traction Lock style limited slip differential. Your clutches are probably worn out and in need of replacing.

The rebuild kit is about $100

if it's an 8.8 op, as stated it has what you call "posi" or for a ford the correct term is traction-loc/limited slip

Sounds like you need to put new clutch packs in the rear.

I wouldn't replace the entire rear end just rebuild the carrier in your current rear end. Much cheaper and less hassle. Possibly replace gears while your at it.
