Default Water outlet question

My water outlet has been leaking for some time now. I decided to replace the thermo housing becuase the one that was on the car was chrome and the chrome was flaking off the bottom edge where the leak was. When I went the reinstall the bolts, the bottom bolt started to get tight and then loosened. I believe the inner threads on the intake manifold are stripped out completely. My question is, Is there any way to make a temporary fix or will I have to replace the entire lower half of the intake manifold.

Professional products upper and lower intake manifold is what I have now. A new one will cost me right around $200. I'd like to avoid spending that money right now if posssible. Any ideas or questions would greatly be appreciated.

Does it matter what intake manifold I buy pertaining the motor? I have a 302 with 351 heads. Thx

You can pull the lower and put a helicoil in it. Or pull the timing cover and do it on the car. Either way, something has to come apart.

Helicoil kit with all you nees is about $25 max. Intake gaskets around $18. Pretty cheap fix. Put anti seize on the steel bolts and next time maybe the threads will be there.
