Make sure you have water in the radiator. Practice your burnouts if you decided to do one. Maybe get different tires for the track so you're not wearin out your street ones.

Check your brakes, if the fluid is old, change it (old fluid can boil, which is very bad). Check suspension. I've seen cars being written off at the track because of the suspension failures.

Other than that, just drive it. Tires don't wear much if the track is not super tight and with rough tarmac.
