Bought the 88 LX 5.0!! Few issues however

I agree. Insurance dropped dramatically for me. Going from a Trans Am GTA with a 357 to a "4" cylinder Mustang. This thing would have easily put that Chevy to shame!

If your still alittle unsure about your charging system, i would highly recomend doing a voltage drop test on the feed and ground side of the charging system circuit. At least that way, you can rule out any unwanted resistance in that circuit and fix any issues.
I would also start looking at wiring diagrams too. This site should help you http://www.veryuseful.com/

Looks like I'm back to square one guys! Printed out those diagrams but they lead me nowhere Fuse box checked out okay! Traced wires but nothing. I snapped a few pictures of the wires that go into the back of the light switch. The other two are pictures of a wireset that was in the driver fender. Completely cut from whatever it was connected to.
Also found what I believe is some sort of relay? But there is no relay connected to it. Last picture.

This is why I will never buy a 4cyl swap car. With the 4cyl having different engine wiring harness and different engine sensors in different locations its tough to do fault tracing cause you don't know what is from the factory 4cyl or from The v8. I think you got a can of worms on you're hands there and the further you dig into the can the more you're gonna get covered in worm crap. Sorry, but I do hope it works out for you, best of luck.

Nothing is impossible. Yes it may be a tough one to crack but it's not holding me back! It'll get sorted out for sure. Just may need a extra hand. That's all. And thanks!
Btw this is my first Ford car ever. From a stand point I would have never known there used to be a 4cyl in there. Until after I bought it and ran the VIN. But I'm still 100% satisfied with the purchase.

Congrats, chances are that simple 25 dollar part is what got you the car. Amazing how people give up and sell a car because they can't find whats wrong. Check simple things first. Got my Lincoln cheap because kid thought the block had a whole in the side. It was actually oil pressure sending unit.
