Alright, so I was having a discussion with my Dad about my plans for this 83 project I have been working on. I told him i wanted to start pulling out useless wiring and cleaning things up (AC, door ajar sensors & what not) over my spring break.

I threw out the idea that I would ask you guys if there was a simple kit for putting in crank windows and ditching my electric ones. He said that electric windows might actually be lighter than cranks.

Would this be true for the 83 mustang year?

manual crank windows are lighter.

and there isnt a "swap kit" AFAIK
