Default What clutch should I go with?

As the title says what clutch to choose? Drove my car 6 hours to Mustang week in Myrtal Beach, sc and tuesday my clutch craps out on me...

the car has a Ram stock replace ment clutch in it now and it's done great at the track and the street even held multiple rev limiter launches on slicks. Bit it only lasted 1 1/2 years in the car and only a year with the car in my posestion.

Still running a stock t-5 and the car is gonna see a lot of drag strip time lots of beating on the street. It should have in the ball park of 300whp for now and future upgrades to tge motor will be soon to come.

So with all that said what clutch would be good for my car and not tear the tranny out the first time I drop tge hammer on a good tire???

Thanks,
Brandon

spec stage 2

and with the amount that you "beat" on the car... expect to continue to replace clutches.

That's what I'm leaning towards this one, after doing some research and talking with a few friends that has this clutch loves it and I did like the ram that was in my car too.

My spec stage 2 took quite a bit of abuse. Only thing I hated about it was the clutch chatter, and the pedal was firm... got kind of annoying in traffic jams.

You either didn't break it in properly, or you didn't resurface your flywheel when you installed it.

I have about 15k miles on mine, many of which have been heavily abusive... my clutch only "chattered" for the first 1k miles (while it was being broken in)

we put ceramic race clutches custom built here in michigan in all our stangs. We have yet to need to replace any from being wore out or slipping. They grip so good when my buddys car soup canned his cobra t-5 that the clutch rivets and everything shreaded out instead of the clutch slipping on a 347 with a 15lb pro charger street racing in Flint. They are made at Clutch Dynamics in lansing Michigan.
