i said basic referring to the facts about the laws that you stated. I greatly appreciated your help with my ACTUAL problem/question in the first place. i just didn't need you jumping on adder's thoughts and further preaching me about speeding. i know the dangers and consequences, hence why i have never been in a life threating situation in my life, nor have i ever been caught by the police or pulled over for that matter for any reason. Also, if you noticed, i said that i don't do those top speed runs anymore.

Well if you normally drive that fast there really isn't much point in asking about what mods to do next. You probably aren't going to live long enough to ever finish that car. I could share a lot of horror stories but they'd just seem like scare tactics.

There is no street tire that con even compare with a mickey thompson et street. Slipping the clutch off ide at best.......you might see a 2.1 sixty

Launching at 3500 on a mickey...should net a 1.8-1.9

Every tenth of sixty is good for 2 tenths ET cut. You cut a 1/2 second off....that's like adding 50 hp

Anf fyi..... a buck 20 is no big deal. On a str8 road? The dragstrip can be more dangerous than that cuz you run out of road eventually. Im not promoting it.....I just don't think 120 is all that fast. 140 or so??? Sure ur getting there

I'm not here to win any popularity contests so I honestly don't care if someone gets a few feathers ruffled. But I want to be clear. Your posting on a public forum, so your making it everyones business. Secondly, if you do 120 on a public highway/interstate you are still making it the business of others because it is their family/friends that are at risk because you have a death wish.

Either you actually do this speed and put others at risk or your just another kid who talks crap to try and appear smarter or tougher among other Mustang owners who actually work hard to fix up their ride and have fun without endangering others. Either way, your on a public forum so if you don't like the opinions of others don't put yourself out there to be criticised. I haven't liked every response I got either but a lot of the members on here have a no BS approach which I respect.

^^^^^ Missouri cops don't play either

My point is everybody here has either had it happen to them personally or know of a friend of a friend who was in a high speed wreck fooling around, racing,or showing off.

There is no need calling us names either because you will find out real quick you disrespect us we will ignore your need of help

oh trust me i worked hard for my mustang and i take the best care for it. and yes i do actually do this speed becuase i love cars in general, and i've loved car racing since my early childhood. trust me i am the least endagering driver. i could care less if you believe me or not. but what i do care about is that you convince yourself and also tell me i have a death wish, which you have no right to say such things. i don't need some stranger jinxing me, come meet me one on one and you'll quickly find out what kind of person i am, and that i'm not what you imagine i am. some street hooligan that races around and puts others in danger. i dont go around on random forums and jump in, criticize, and stick my nose in on random issues, and my respect for you is non-existent since you do so
