and just wanna know what exactly is wrong with getting a tune. Is my car just still too stock for the tune to really do anything worth the cost?

Save your money and get the 4.10's. You won't regret your decision. Nitrous is a pain in the *** and incredibly addicting. If you get a kit dont be stupid and get a better fuel pump. You will put a 75 shot on your car and be like this is awesome. You WILL get greedy and rejet the fogger (the stock pump cant handle more then a 100 in most cases) and pop a head gasket best case, or melt a piston. I popped a head gasket, when I pilled a 125 shot the stock pump.

Gears translate into moving your car quicker with the same hp. You will have that all the time. Nitrous you dont. You have to worry about bottle pressure, is my bottle full, do I have enough money to fill the bottle.......blah blah blah.

Disclaimer: I love Nitrous! I used to hit my stock long block 5.0 with a 2 stage and both were pilled 200. However, I had a fuel pump, injectors, full exhaust, intake, maf, cai, and a wide band. Ask luckythirteen13 about it.......

What is it with this reducing top speed. When do you ever hit over 90mph? That's the fastest I've ever done and that was through Arizona on the Interstate because it was legal. Your talking about simple cruising and light to light moments.

I'd rather have 410's and beat you to the next light than putting in something less and worrying about a speed that I'll never see. If I did 90 around here I'd be behind bars within the hour.

people are far too worried about "top speed". When my cobra had its stock engine and 3.08's, it wouldn't accelerate in 5th over 135. Its a simple case of power! the car didnt have enough of it. Do I have any need to go that fast, no! My next gear change is going to be solely based off the RPM that my car would pass through the traps at the end of the 1/4 mile. That in itself will still be around 125mph (in 4th).

The funny thing is that my next transmission change (which will accompany the gear change) will result in almost no change in my current MPG.

i've actually done over 120 3-4 times. and over 105 quite regularly, except lately. All just based on your preference. I love 0-60's and also top speed.

Adder I got your back on this one as well. My 408 IF geared right can do 190mph whoopty hooty doo doo. I trap faster than some here who are worried about gears for top end! 4.30'baby!My dd which is a camaro rarely sees 80mph and anything 20mph over the speed limit is automatic loss of license fines out the wazoo and possible jail time and that goes on your record. Try getting a good job with that on your record

calm down you don't need to show off your basic knowledge of the law, becuase i already know all of that. I wasn't worried i was just merely asking a question. i don't need your bum selves trying to jynx me by asking if i want to be the next ryan dunn.
