MAF question
so looked at the site, and it appears I have the 73mm housing with a calibration tube for 36/38lbs injectors...
http://www.cnlperformance.com/calibration.html
I don't believe I'd need that much fuel, and if the guy was right on those injectors being 24 lbs then I'd say that would be plenty enough for me. Looks like the trade I made was a hell of a good deal lol
Oh and i looked at my other housing again, its sample tube is similar to the other one but no color on it
oh and dudeboy, where would be a good place to source one of those computers you recommended?

Sorry for multiple posts guys, I can't edit my posts from my phone. I just ran the numbers on the fuel injectors, the number on the front is 3154, on the side 01d030b which seems to come back to lucas 42lbs injectors. Anyone know for sure? They are black with a blue ring on top which is what the images show. So it seems these injectors are a great match for the maf sensor. I am planning to change heads and upgrade my whole intake, what do you guys think about running this setup?
any info about these injectors? I have also been looking up the computers and know an auto computer will work perfectly fine. I looked at C&L's site and the housing for 86-93 (as they list it) MAF sensors says with factory A9L processors. Would It make any difference running an A9P?
good to hear in case I need to resort to one. Also as for a plug, do I absolutely need a mustang one or would one off an explorer or ranger work as well? I know its a very similar plug and i have 2 rangers, but I havent had time to check the fitment. I just need these 2 parts then I can convert
Well I just wasted time at the nearest pick n pull that listed an 89 stang. This was probably the junkiest car on the lot, a vert, auto 4 cylinder, absolutely NO use at all. But, as I was there I decided to look through the fords and figure out my maf sensor plug question for myself. In fact, yes early model explorers and rangers with maf sensor plugs DO fit the mustangs and will work for the conversion. This is also true of the early model mustangs
I originally snagged a v6 stang plug, then went and looked through the rangers and explorers. They have the exact same plug except the case colors are similar, but very slightly different. I opted for one off an explorer because the wires on the rangers and explorers are thicker than those of the stangs. So with possible volted drop in mind, I chose thicker wires to avoid a potential issue down the road
