Got them put on today, everything went well. Used cotton rope, the whole thing took about five hours from start to finish. I'm really glad I decided to replace them. The old ones were very soft.

Old junk next to the new junk.

Installed

Goin in the garbage.

I fired it up after the install and it ran fine like before. The gaskets that I got when I ordered my EGR eliminator plate from JRM are paper thin so aren't sealing at the throttle body. I have tomorrow off work so I'm gonna buy a gasket sheet and make my own then take it out on the road.

Got her sealed up today but I couldn't go out on the road because of the weather. Cold and rainy, blah. I'm gonna try for this weekend. So glad I didn't spend money of summit for those gaskets. It's easy to make your own! Video coming soon bud, I've really wanted to make one but haven't had the chance.

Here ya go mang. This was my Dad driving it because he didn't understand how to use my phone lol. He got off it in third. It's got just a little go . This wasn't full throttle obviously, no one has tried that yet. It gets pretty squirrely at half throttle so you have to be very careful not to lose control. I really haven't done anything with the rear suspension other than the superlites and the junky aftermarket control arms I bought. So I'm planning some drag radials, panhard bar, MM upper and lower control arms with torque boxes, and new shocks and struts(open to suggestions on those). Let me know what you guys think!

On the way! I should be getting the rest of it from Jegs on Monday along with mt MTX-L from PAS. For the winter I'm going to work on making car rust free. The floor pans aren't terrible BUT we did a patch job on the passenger side and I just don't like that. Other than that it's ok, just some surface rust. Gonna do a lot of cleaning and POR 15. CJ Parts is having a sheet metal sale so I picked up some floor pans this morning. Going to start a rustang resto thread soon

better not go full throttle, with the rust, might tear that car in half

sounds good, and obviously will blow the tires off.

I recommend the strange engenerring 10 way adjustable shocks and struts. can make them soft and the car ride nice (as long as you don't get into the throttle, as you will start getting wheel hop) or tighten them up and throw it around corners, or semi soft in the front, and semi stiff in the rear, and go drag racin'.
