I have a 89 fox 2.3 EFI.. I am wanting to put a 5.0 carb motor in it.

1) Should I keep my T-5 Tranny? Or go with the 4-speed Tranny that comes with it?

2) What will i have to get to run a carb motor on my fuel injected setup?

Now that I have closed your double post and moved this one to the right section.....

You can use the 4 banger T5 BUT you need a pilot bearing from a late 80's early 90's diesel ranger...I don't remember the exact year but if you google the swap you will find HUNDREDS of sites on it.

Use the T5......

Running the carbed 302 in your 4 banger body is simple. Again.....just use the search function. I do not have time right now to sit and type it up for you...
