Theres some type of metal thing in my driver fenderwell. covered completely with a rubber cover. I'm doing a 5.0 conversion. What i this?

Also there are 3 boxes on the rad support. Thel all have a few wires coming off of them. Any idea what they are?

Car is a 93 4 cyl car. Currently painting the bare front end and rust proofing before assembling.

Will be a fuel injected 5.0 By summer

in the fender is most likely cruise control, the boxes need more info what do they look like, what are they connected to, how are they mounted
