Default what plug is this?

this is a plug on my t-5 is this for cruise control?

aside from the vehicle speed sensor, there are only two connectors on the foxbody transmission. The first is up on the top cover, its for the Neutral safety switch. The second is on the side of the case and has what looks like two threaded prongs. Thats for your reverse lights

i have the side connector on it is just the top one i do not have. the only reason i am confused is bc it was never connected but now that i have put the tranny back in figuring out what it is. so dumb question the top one is for the neutral safety? should i connect it, or is there any reason i should not. pretty sure you answered that in ur post but i am a little slow. thanks for the help mike
