Default stock heads

I have been offered stock heads from a 90 stang lx for $100.00 for the pair. the heads have 250 cfm worth of porting and port exhaust BUT no valve porting nor valve job. Would these be worth the $100.00??

nope

considering the time it''ll take and the gaskets you'll be replacing, your better off just doing nothing at all

and i highly doubt someone put a set of stock heads on a flow bench, let alone the flow increasing by 250 and no valve job.

the biggest porting gains you can get are in the valve job , and with respect to the SBF the exhaust ports

so spend the $100 on whatever your homeboy is smoking, shooting or sniffing

That set of heads sounds like good doorstop makers.
I took a set of them fishing one time, anchor never dragged all day......

I use worn out brake rotors for freshwater anchor. Hangs up, just cut the anchor rope. Cheaper than a anchor.
