With some power shifting and a harder launch I'm sure I could have broke the 12 second zone. I had planned on trying with the next run but they shut us down. Either way I was pretty happy

The 12.3 run was with a 150 shot.....bad *** BFG drag radials too lol

and when I say I stuck with him...I mean we started even at 2nd at 30 mph and at 120 my nose was at his door and I think I was actually starting to come back on him a little at the top of my 4th. He has 3.55's I have 3.73's

We got video on an older camcorder so I either have to figure out how to put it on a computer or I am going to blow it up on big screen and record that with my phone.

ALSO, Just so its out there. This was FULL race weight, full interior, full street setup. Just remove the jack and spare tire and around a 1/2 tank of gas....so the 12 second zone isn't out of my reach by no means . My main goal was to go out and smash my previous and to show up a couple LS1's that have been talking **** on FB saying my car can't keep up/ outrun their all mighty POS's. The main one only ran a 13.5 (street tires) and a cammed GTO ran a 13.1 at 111 but I wasn't worried about him.

Next upgrades to help...

port lower intake
24lb injectors (ones I get the correct MAF)
LCA's (running stock with a T/A and PHB setup)
3G alt (not for speed lol)
shocks/struts (still have factory 93 on the car lol)

Next time I think I might install a stock set of rear springs and trim them a little. From what little video I seen I had pretty decent weight transfer to the back but it looks like it sprung back forward too quick IMO. Watched it on a little 2 inch screen while I was driving home so gotta wait till it gets blown up bigger.

With this car it will probably stay my corner carver but for those days I am taking it to the track swap in the rear springs, remove the strut tower brace and the rear seats out of the car to lose a few pounds and break that damn 12 second slip I have wanted with this car!

really , only a 12.3 with a 150 shot on a full h/c/i/ car?? I'd of expected 12.3 without the no2.......what was his mph?? maybe that'll tell the real story

I just ordered shocks and struts for mine. Regular monroes for the front and sensa-tracs for the back.lol I thought it was worth a try.

I was going to do like 90/10 50/50 but, I am not sure how long they will last on the street?

Does your car not have 4 cylinder car springs under it?

No, I have BBK specific rates under it. Like I said the car is built to take corners, not for launching

12.3 at 118. That was supposed to say bald *** not bad *** lol. Its a full weighted 87 GT. trick flow top end, 3.55's eibach drag launch rear springs, and MAC lowers. This was his first time to the track in over a year so it didn't do to bad. His best is a 12.1 on N2O and 12.8 without I think.
