Smelling alot of gas!?!?

Hey guys, about the gas fumes... I need to know if this is going to cause a fire or blow my car up??????? I certainly hope not but I gotta ask anyway...

There's not enough vapor coming out to pose that kind of threat. If you have it venting into the atmosphere your cooling fan will get rid the of the fumes almost immediately. If you leave the car stored in a garage the worst thing that will happen is the garage may smell of gas... if the garage is tiny.

If you wanna get rid of the smell until you get the charcoal canister....look under the passenger side of the car. You will see a metal line that has a rubber line connecting 2 pieces of it .....that is your vapor line. Just remove the rubber off the front of the line and put a bolt in it and block it. The downside to this is that the fumes will build pressure in your tank so when you remove the gas cap it will relieve pressure.

Have you checked the lower intake manifold around the injectors for moisture (gas)? The O-rings may be bad on the injectors. It happened to me.
