Default Next "best" thing to do this winter...

Pretty much got the car in for the winter...You guys have given me great ideas so far...so what's next to do?

What I did this year:
1) Headers & Cat back Flowmasters (still need to replace the stock catted mids). Headers & Flowmasters were on house (thanks Flowmaster !)
2) New shocks/struts.
3) New Eibach lowering springs.
4) BBK Cold Air intake (still stock on the MAF, Throttle Body, Intake).
5) Did a SCT chip running on 91 octane race tune from AM/Bama Tunes
6) New Ford Racing 3.73's Gears & Traction-Loc Rebuild w\ carbon discs.
7) Did the Transgo-HP shift kit & Trans Cooler to buy some time on the AOD.
8) Maximum MotorSports Full Length subframe connectors...
9) Maximum MotorSports Caster/Camber Plates...

The car runs & handles way better than when I bought it this last Spring...but? What's next on the fairly short list to make faster/better?

On my mind was the MAF, Throttle Body, Cobra Intake, maybe GT40 Heads??? What's next on the suspension direction...LCA's? Nothing serious just fun... I still want to eventually replace my White Leather seat covers, New Top, & will do the 5 lug/rear disc & brake line conversions before I replace the wheels (the 5 year plan).

Hey,

It sounds like your car is already really tastefully modded and you have some awesome plans! I agree with just about everything in your 5 year plan. I would go with the restoration parts next since you already have some good power mods! However, No matter what order you do them in it's still gonna be awesome.

I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any questions!

For handling, rear lca would probably top my list from where you are, though simple things like a strut tower brace or K member brace will also make a noticeable difference. For power, heads (preferably TF, Edelbrock, or AFR), 70-75mm MA, Intake, and 65/70mm TB, in that order.

Steeda also has excellent parts. A control arm that will lower the pick up point on the rear axle will improve traction. I welded brackets on my axle housing to lower the pick up points by 2", and moved the control arm mounting point forward 1.5" as well, both of which added traction, which we all know is in short supply....

Instead of the GT40 heads I think you should look carefully a new aftermarket heads.
Like maybe Trick Flows or something in the Edelbrock line.......

I think I'm doing the LCA's...how about the quad shocks & upper control arms (waste of $?)...

I will also be upgrading my rear end cover as it is leaking, considering aftermarket with drain/fill plugs...recommendations?

When I replaced the upper and lower rear control arms, I removed the quad shocks. The poly bushings in the control arms got rid of the axle hop.
