hey guys i am wanting to make a special shift light and need your help, i want to make a step by step for this but what i need help with is finding a shift light that has a control box or "the guts" to where i can mount them under my dash and put the led in a clear plastic or glass shift ****, thats right i want to make one that makes my shift **** light up when you reach the desired rpm, can you guys hit me up with info to where i can find the "guts" and led to do this, i am sure theres something out there to make this happen i just have no idea what to look for lol, thanks guys i hope i can do this i would love your ideas on it and any info about it you have

Just buy like a raptor shift light and extend the wires on the LEDs

that kills my whole idea, and those are way over priced, i want to build my own, makes it custom thats the whole point, i can buy a shift **** with a small led in the top that lights up, but i want to customize my own, and building one from the ground up is the fun part not buying one.
