Default 1988 GT wheels

Is there any way to find out what wheels came on my car from the factory? I want to bring it back to it's factory condition is there a build sheet hidden somewhere in the vehicle?

Pretty sure you could also get the star pattern wheel on the GT.

The pony wheels came stock on 91-93 lx's and gt's...87-90 gt had turbine wheels. 87-90 lx's had 10 holes

Your probably right. The star might have been a popular swap.

other thing to consider is the tire size has got difficult to find in 225/60R-15 as I can only find about 3 tire mfg. that carry it now.

Thanks. I found a set of pony rims in white with chrome pony inserts for $300. I know it's not original but I always like those wheels on the
car. The 225 is easy to find here but a wider tire in that profile for the rear is hard. Tomorrow is a trip to the suspension shop, top shop, tire shop and paint. I'm waiting on the engine till that's all done. That's when things will get interesting, like 400-500 hp interesting.
