lt side is the driver side in the automotive world. I would not believe a carfax for anything seen to many screw ups but it is a good starting place. If you bought it you own it so like said stop worrying. I really dont know why they would cut the strut tower back there for a S/C install makes no sense to me. Yes I have installed a good many S/C and turbo kits. Best thing to do would be to have a Body shop take a look at it before you start on the strut tower install. just to make sure the rest is good and sound.IMO
