Angry 1990 5.0 code 66 and 98

So I have been getting these 2 codes. 98: Repeat Test Sequence 66: No Mass Air Flow Signal. I have replaced the MAF with a new one and tested the wires with ohm/volt reader. I been trouble Shooting this girl for awhile. Started out with barely being able to run with an extremely erratic rpm. Replaced about everything sensor wise and distributor and got it to idle finally and drive abit. Main thing is it can be fine driving for 10 mins then it falls on its face or just stalls out. Its an auto btw. Then after starting it enough times to get it back home it will stop starting up and just have the starter spinning it over. One odd thing could do to get it to run again after it does not want to is jiggle the engine harness on the right side of the motor and it can start back up for alittle. Been cutting open the harness to inspect the wires but I feel like that's leading me in the wrong direction. I have check all the grounds and all is fine. Pulled to ECU to see if there is any burning but its fine. Plugged it back in and was able to drive for an hour around town, picked up some food and went home. Next day went to start it and it idled for about 6 mins and it shut off, tried right away to start it and it ran for 3 seconds, tried again and it would not turn over, just be spinning from the starter. I tried to find an answer all over the place before creating an account and asking my questions. Only found how to test MAF sensor, witch I already have. Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks guys and gals

Code 98 is a hard fault.Did you check the maf wires ohms value between the maf harness plug & the ecm harness plug?? If no,do that with the plugs disconnected from the maf & ecm.Ohms should be 5.0 ohms or less.If not, youve got an open/shorted wire.Make sure the maf sensor heated wires arent dirty.Additional info below.
