EFI carbs?
So today I was on the internet looking at car stuff and I found these efi carbs but I can't seem to find lots of information on them. Like, can I still use the efi fuel pump with an efi carb? for me that would save me a lot of time in getting my vehicle to run because long story short, I was shafted on what I thought was a good deal when in reality it wasn't, and also, it would be an easy way for me to "efi" my friends 72' Maverick in a way that wouldn't involve lots of wiring haha. any help or information is appreciated!

Yes, I believe you can use your stock EFI pump as long as it's capable of getting the required amount of fuel and pressure to the system. You could also call Jegs or Summit racing and inquire about it. They are very knowledgeable.

It would help if you can post a link to the specific efi carbs you're referring to.Some Fords (example: 84-85 Ford Mustang 5.0
w/ AOD) came with a factory installed CFI system. It was a carb with 1-2 large injectors.
The aftermarket DFI type systems come with a carb & 1-2 large injectors, but they require a special ecu and sensors to make them work.
Is this the type of system you're referring to??
