I suspect that the value of a CAI varies based on the amount of restriction in the stock air intake setup under acceleration. I suspect that adding a CAI to a newer Mustang is a waste of money, unless you make modifications that require far more air to pass through the engine such as adding a supercharger. OBJECTIVE INDEPENDENT testing required! Fishing lures don't have to catch fish to be profitable.... the have to catch fisherman!

Make sense?

When I was young I had a street motorcycle. I measured how fast it covered a distance with a stop watch. I then modified the air intake & exhaust to remove most all restrictions that had been put in it to reduce noise, etc. When I was done I timed the motorcycle.... & sadly the times where exactly the same..... BUT IS CERTAINLY SOUNDED LIKE IT WAS GOING MUCH FASTER! VERY COOL! LOL!
