Default Sync 3 Screen going black

I have a 2018 GT with the 8" Sync 3 screen. I rarely drive my car- it's a garage queen with only 2K miles. Lately, the Sync 3 screen is black and I must 'reset' it by pressing the "Play/Fast forward" buttons at the same time. I should not have to keep doing this- does someone know of a solution?

it may just need an update, my 2017 sync 3 was acting funny so I tried to update it and it absolutely would not. I dropped it off with the dealer and had them fix it since it is still under warranty. Any time you have issues that are covered always take it to the dealer if they can’t fix it then ford gets to replace it for free. I had a 2014 GT/CS I was stepping into the throttle well it decided it didn’t like number 6 piston rod and threw it though the side of the block. My heart sank and I thought well here I go I’m getting that 5.0 aluminator I’ve always been wanting. Well to my surprise I had it towed to the dealer they did a lot of testing and found there was no reason for it to do that. So ford replaced my engine for free and had my old engine sent to their testing facility to see why it threw a rod. So yeah anytime your car is under warranty always take it to the dealer you never know you could get something for free.
