It's probably on the forum, but I could not find the thread. I have a new 2019 GT with a manual tranny. I notice that the shifts are not a smooth as I would expect. It appears that this was a common problem in 2018. I will contact the dealership about the issue, but I'm curious what the forum knows. What is the problem, and did Ford do a recall?

Expectation? Butter smooth vs a little notchy? Jerking/lurching due to improper clutch release? Who knows! Take it to a dealer and go for a drive with the mechanic.

 

I would still get one of these SR Performance Billet Aluminum Clutch Pedal Extensions, makes shifting so much easier!
